I am a Business Intelligence Architect at Pragmatic Works. I work with Microsoft’s SQL Server stack and Windows Azure to deliver data and business intelligence solutions. I have been working with technology for over 15 years with much of that time spent on creating business intelligence solutions including in-memory models, multidimensional databases, reporting solutions, and data marts. One of my passions is using data effectively and helping customers understand that data is valuable and profitable. I also have experience working with a large Software as a Service vendor where I received awards for customer satisfaction and engineering excellence. Over the past six years, I have delivered over 30 presentations on SQL server and data architecture. In 2010, I received Consultant of the Year honors at Magenic. I am currently a member of the Minnesota SQL Server User Group (PASSMN).
I have been married to my beautiful wife Sheila since 1993. We are the parents of four awesome kids who keep us busy with all of their adventures. You can follow some of those adventures on the Fun Info page of the site. I am also the Scoutmaster for BSA Troop 226 in Savage, MN where I enjoy mentoring boys and seeing them become young men.
